There is nothing like living your dream. For many years painting was just a dream. Today when I paint vivid colors on my windows, I remember sitting by the bay as a little boy and dreaming. God has used the seemingly foolish things like painting on old windows to confound the many people who have viewed my work. And to think it all got started at a time when I was praying about my future and what God's plan for me was. He answered with a simple, "Paint what's in your heart".

Over the years although I have been criticized by some, God has allowed many people to say, "Your colors make me happy". Whimsical, rich, childlike, happy are some of the words used to describe my work.

There is never a day I do not feel like painting. I know I am doing what I was born to do. That's why I am able to pour my heart and soul into what I do and hopefully others who view and choose to buy my pieces feel that too. I hope that everyone can feel a little happiness as well.

I encourage my folk art loving customers and anyone viewing this, to hold fast to your dreams. Pursue what is in your heart. Dig deep inside and find that gift and talent that God has put inside you. Keep dreaming. The sky is the limit.
